This was an excellent

Winners click here.
All Heart of England
competitors behaviour was exemplary and they were a credit to
the Association.
The Highlights from the Saturday
were Ben Wadsley who took the first Gold of the Tournament with his
Patterns Gold, the Cadet Red Belt category for patterns where Heart of
England took three of the four medals available and Ryan Alvey and Aaron
Cobley who both took 2 Golds each. A special mention for the Red Belts
who were in an a very large group and all performed and behaved
brilliantly. You were a credit to your Instructors. And a vote of thanks
from the competitors to Miss Kimberley Bradshaw who was running around
like a headless chicken trying to coach everyone at the same time.
The Highlights of the Sunday
were Anthony Ducker who had a truly magnificent final against an Italian
fighter and Chris Randall whose final lasted all of 15 seconds before
his opponent was unable to continue. The award for sustaining the most
punches to the head goes to Penny Christodoulou whose determination and
resilience earned her a Bronze Medal for Sparring. Well done to all.
The next event is
Heart of England
Championships in May 2010.
